Paycom Software Inc. has pledged $116,000 to the Millwood Enrichment Foundation as part of a two-year partnership with Millwood Public Schools. The contribution is intended to strengthen existing programs and launch new initiatives across the district, with a dedicated portion earmarked for the school’s marching band.

“We are deeply grateful for Paycom’s generosity,” said Milo Wilson, president of the Millwood Enrichment Foundation. “This support will allow us to expand educational opportunities, especially in music education, by providing instruments and other resources that enhance the student experience.”

The impact of this gift is already clear in the growth of Millwood’s marching band, which has increased from roughly a dozen students in 2019 to more than 70 participants in grades 6 through 12. The first installment of Paycom’s commitment—$54,000—will directly benefit this program.

“This investment enables us to strengthen music programs that research shows help students achieve in other core subjects such as reading and math,” said Dr. Cecilia Robinson-Woods, superintendent of Millwood Public Schools. “Paycom’s support empowers Millwood to continue developing champions both in academics and in life.”

According to Paycom, the company seeks to back sustainable, community-based initiatives that support basic needs and educational success. “We believe in giving to organizations that create lasting impact,” said Jason Bodin, Paycom’s senior director of marketing and communications. “Music fosters innovation, teamwork, and creativity, and studies consistently demonstrate the benefits of student involvement in band and extracurricular activities. We’re honored to play a role in advancing these opportunities for Millwood students.”
